I'm Not Complaining 346 p.
My friend, D, lent me this book, 'cause she thought I'd like it. The narrator is a teacher, and her thoughts on love, the depression, unemployment, teaching, etc, certainly resonated with me. Although I enjoyed the book, I found the ending to be a bit depressing, if only because the woman's life so much resembles my own (plus I love a happy ending). But this was still an engaging and satisfying read.
